Take a Break at the Lake

North Shore Woods is a small family owned and operated resort directly on the shores of beautiful Beach Pond in Voluntown, CT. Our family has been providing lakeside vacation opportunities to guests since 1964. We rent two cabins year-round, as well as a seasonal RV and tent camping site. We also have a larger cottage available for the winter season. All guests enjoy free use of our private beach, kayaks, canoes, paddleboards and our 10-person wood fired Finnish sauna. Relax, unplug, and reconnect with nature and family here on the lake.

Reservations

Ellis

Ellis was built in the late 1960's by architecture students at Ellis Tech under the direction of our Great Uncle Tom who taught there. It underwent a complete remodel in 2015, but still retains its vintage summer camp feel. Ellis includes a detached bunkhouse for summer use.

Vinola

Vinola is a historic cabin built sometime in the 1920's. It has been a retreat in the woods for over 100 years. It underwent a total remodel in 2016 and is always a guest favorite.

Lakeside Cottage

Lakeside Cottage boasts direct water views from the beautiful front porch. Our parents live in this cottage in the summer months and we rent it as a winter getaway in the colder months. Cozy up in front of the gas fireplace with a good book and enjoy the quiet.

RV/Tent Site

Our RV site offers power and water. No sewer, but a dumpsite is available. Enjoy all the amenities of the property from the comfort of your own RV or Tent
